How does it work?

There are sensors that know when you open a hot water tap, and instantly fires up the burner and heats your water!

Tankless water heaters are standard in Europe with residential and commercial buildings and have been increasingly common in the United States in the last decade. 

You're able to have hot water instantly by use of a circulation pump (A-Series Models), so you don't have to wait for your water to get hot!  You're also able to control just how hot you want your water to be, from 100 to 140 degrees! There is a commercial mode that we are able to set up to allow water temperature up to 180F. Optional Settings to use Intelligent Preheating which learns your hot water use cycles, and heats/circulates the hot water before you use it instead of always keeping the water hot, saving you even more in energy costs.

We kicked out a 26 year old water heater, and love the gained space and endless hot water - extremely helpful to be able to get all the kids through the shower/bath and not have to wait for the water to get hot again, and still be able to do dishes and laundry at the same time!

They use 27-50% of fuel cost over standard water heaters and are up to 96% efficient compared to 50-60% efficiency you get with standard water heaters - meaning 40-50% of the fuel used to heat the water in the tank is wasted.

A recirculation loop simply connects between the internal circulation pump and the furthest fixture from the water heater. When activated, it circulates hot water from the water heater to the furthest fixture and returns it to the cold water side of the system. This help eliminate the long wait periods for hot water.
